We are pleased to present to you, from the estate of a Montreal Antique Store, a wonderful collection of antique items from around the globe including a 19th century Cloisonne vase, an English blue transfer ware porcelain egg, two Georgian Sheffield candle snuffers and tray, a Limoges Humidor with sterling cover. A pair of Champlevé vases, a Nigerian Yoruba Maternity figure, an Africa Baule tribe ancestor figure, an African Ashanti Tribe fertility carving, a mask from Ghana, various Chinese snuff bottles including some with erotic images, a signed Limoges Paroutaud Freres charger from 1903, an Empire period Bronze Inkwell, signed Inuit stone carvings, a number of Meiji Period Japanese Bronze vases, Chinese Porcelain vases, a Daguerreotype picture, Mid 18th century Maps of various parts of the world, a Victorian tea caddy, various carved Buddha’s, Kutani bowls, a Victorian portrait painted on ivory and numerous other goodies. From the estate of an Ottawa collector we have a good selection of Aladdin oil lamps plus a good number of coin collection albums, stamp albums plus Old Canadian coins and bank notes from around the world.
We have a selection of Sterling Silver; including a Birks sterling ring box and a Birks footed bonbon dish, three pairs of sterling/continental silver sugar nips, Bristol Vases, Wedgwood Jasperware, a Victorian Sewing Box, signed crystal decanter with crystal and sterling coasters, gold bordered stemware, Victorian bone handled fish set and a Georgian wax bust of the Roman Emperor Caligula. Large collection of Royal Crown Derby "Imari" pattern.
You will find a number of Oriental carpets and a nice assortment of pieces of quality furniture including a superb 1900’s Oak dining room Suite with two Bow Front China Cabinets, a games table, an Oak five tier stacking barristers bookcase in excellent condition, a vintage floor lamp, Mahogany and Leather wine table, a Wicker seat hall table, a Walnut spinet desk and chair, a three tier round Brass and Glass coffee table, a five piece teak finish cabinet, an antique rocker, a folding rocker, a Victorian hall chair, a William and Mary design mirror and a superb large 1940’s French style bronze ormolu and porcelain lamp.
For those with more simple tastes we have a large quantity of English blue willow china, a lot of ironstone china, brass fireplace equipment including a fire screen, a cuckoo clock, a gingerbread clock, vintage cameras, and good linens.
For anyone with a penchant for musical instruments you will find a good early 20th century German copy of a Joseph Guarnerius Violin and a signed Nurnberger octagonal bow inlaid with silver and mother of pearl, an Antique Mandolin in excellent condition with the original case and Five Guitars including a 2002 Martin USA model DR wit Schertler Bluestick pickup, strap and hardshell case, a pristine 2012 Fender Kurt Cobain Mustang guitar MIJ, an immaculate Gretsch G5122 Double cut guitar with bigsby tremolo and hard-shell case, a Gibson Epiphone Les Paul Special II and a 70’s vintage Equinox La Sonara telecaster guitar. To match these fabulous musical instruments we have a Vox DA-5 multi effect guitar Amp.
If you would just prefer to listen to some music, we have some tube radios that you might like, a Norelco Philips 1958 model B5X88A Multi Band Tube Radio, a Grundig C 1950’s Tube Radio Model 88 ca made for Canada, and a 1940’s Sabine model SABU-UA 195 tube radio made in Germany. Other interesting items are three Canadian WWII sterling medals, a nice lot of Victorian/Edwardian condiment jars, three vintage duck decoys plus others, an assortment of tools including a number of primitive tools, a good quantity of English, American and wooden planes, an antique coffee grinder, antique lanterns, beacon lanterns, tractor seat, snow shoes, copper boiler, antique sleigh, Elvis milk can, a large number of fishing rods, a good number of turn of the century children’s books by authors such as Horatio Alger Jr., Ralph Connor, Tom Swift plus other interesting books and some Vintage children's toys.
